A LETTER OF THANKS

Essex, United Kingdom

This yet another e-mail sent by people who were stranded in Moncton for several days at the Moncton Coliseum as a result of the terrorist attacks on the United States. Again, I share this with all of you, in order to share my pride in being a Monctonian. Click below if you would like to read some of the other e-mails the Mayor of Moncton has received from grateful flight passengers who spent time in Moncton.

Subject: You Wonderful People

Words cannot fully describe the horror which was wreaked in New York last
week which resulted in me spending an unplanned stay at the Coliseum in
Moncton.

At the other end of the spectrum, words also cannot describe my gratitude
for the people of Moncton's care, help and selfishness in looking after me
and my fellow travellers during our stay - THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY
HEART - why can't the whole world be made up of people like you?
When everything has settled down I will return to Moncton with my wife so
she can see and feel for herself the compassion which still exists in this
modern hi-tec world.

Thanks and kind regards,

MALCOLM GRAHAM (on Flight BA 2007 which returned safely to Gatwick 13th.Sept.2001)
