| Lantis Magic Swordsman of Cephiro A somewhat brooding mysterious person, the character of Lantis was introduced in the second season of MKR. His past is somewhat shady due to the fact that he left the land of Cephiro even before the First Battle began in the first half of the series. Rumors had it that Lantis was traveling within the three countries bordering Cephiro, staying his most longest haitus at Autozam. In Autozam, he befriended Eagle, the commander of the NSX and told him about the Pillar system in Cephiro. When Lantis finally returned to his homeland, he vowed that he would destroy the Pillar system, the system that he despised the most and blamed for the downfall of his brother Zagato, the high priest of Cephiro. A proof of his emotionless nature is his constant ignoring of a faerie he saved called Primera who constantly accompanies him (often with jealousy... :D), however, he begins to show his more human-like side when he encounters Hikaru Shidou, one of the legendary Magic Knights. Thus was Lantis' dilemma, he swore to the heavens that he would destroy the Magic Knights, yet some how he cannot seem to distance himself from Hikaru. Later on in the finale of the second season of MKR, he openly accepts Hikaru's declaration of love.
