Basically, I have 4 different plans for each of the children. Most of it overlaps and is the same. Other parts are very different because of their different grade levels. At the beginning of the year when I am in the planning stages, I list all of the things that I want each child to learn that year. I group everything by subject. I lay it all out according to what is in the textbook or workbook. This helps me to have everything in one place. I use many different sources for the lessons and activities. Check out my Links page to see some of those sources.

Rachel will be doing 3rd grade level work in Language Arts, Spelling, Math, Social Studies, and Science. And of course writing practice.

Sarah will be studying the same subjects but on a 2nd grade level. She will be using her workbook and worksheets that I provide, and writing practice.

Lydia has a workbook for lessons on thinking skills, reading skills, and beginning math. To teach her to read, I will use Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. She will have writing practice as well.

Lee Jr will use worksheets that I print out, but mostly games and hands on activities for pre-reading and pre-math skills.
