I have spent many hours learning and playing with PSP (Paint Shop Pro). It is sooo addictive!
Once I learned about layers and transparent images, I tried out digital scrapbooking and am now scrapping some of the old photographs that have been scanned into our computer.
The two in the top row below are some of the first I did and the font is my own handwriting.
Visit
to get your own handwriting on your computer. The cost is US$9.00.
The two lower images are samples of my later efforts after discovering digital scrapbooking sites that offer everything you need for this hobby, lots of it freebies. One of my favourite artists/designers is Christine Borgfeld. She has her own site here.
Again, there are many groups on the internet that provide free tutorials for anyone wanting to learn PSP; just search for PSP tutorials. You can download a trial copy of the programme from corel.com.
Using PSP, and inspired by the copyright notes, I made the pink flower on the top border here with the mouse and added the leaves. I was quite (pleasantly) surprised that it turned out okay as I'm not artistic.
