Technology should not be something that you "fight with", nor should it be something that fights you. Good technology is art, bad is vulgar graffitti!Free Software, there IS such a thing!
I have sympathy for those still paying for proprietary software, and (to add insult to injury) maintaining anti-virus
software for the privilege.What shops will tell their victims customers that they can use Linux and avoid the cost of Windows, that they don't need to buy "package X" because you can freely download "alternative X" instead, or that very often "alternative X" is better!
Judge for yourself, find an alternative before parting with your hard-earned!
If you like the programs you find on the links, you should consider a move to Linux, and NO you won't have to ditch your windows partition, you can just reduce it in size. "There's room in the bed for two, no matter how fat one is"!
