| Well after some thought, I decided it would be best for me (financially speaking) to piece my Mustang II together instead of buying a kit. That way I wouldn't have the down time I would have it I saved for the kit. I really hate using credit cards and I want to build this thing using only cash. After some research I decided to buy the TCI crossmember that is setup for tubular control arms. This crossmember came with the gussets already welded on and it looked beefier than my friends Heidts crossmember. My buddy told me of a place called Rodparts Warehouse that sales quality parts at good prices, so I ordered my tubular control arms from them. I purchased my TCI crossmember for $379.00 from Hartrods and the turbular control arms cost $295.00 (upper and lower) from Rodparts Wharehouse. Believe it or not these tubular arms are nice and heavy dutey. I only say this because I could not beieve the quality for the price. Heidts and TCI lower arms are the price I paid for the complete set at Rodparts Warehouse. Well anyway, here are some pics for the Mustang II crossmember tacked in. |
