Holiday time in New Zealand. Some intermoittant activity to see on the Auckland ATV Repeaters. Other times the regular Teletext pages are displayed in rotation. April 2003

A new MKIII Teletext Video generator has been built up for the Whangarei ATV Repeater. Ian ZL1VFO has composed a 32 page EPROM for it.

Bruce ZL1WB has made progress with a 615 MHz transmitter aerial, but more to do before it is ready to use.

Wayne ZL1UJK has received the 23cm FMTV receiver for Whangarei from Tim ZL3VTV & Grant ZL1WTT. It too needs a few finishing touches.

Grant ZL1WTT is to give a "Future ATV" talk at the Easter Technology Convention in Hamilton.

Henry ZL1AAN has taken on the task of building a 615 MHZ transmit aerial for the Auckland ATV Group's STSP repeater. Michael ZL1ABS is organising the conversion of a channel 35 Hills upconverter to channel 39 (615.25 MHz).

March 2003

The trip to Whangarei went well with the 615 MHz Repeater transmitter installed in the equipment cabinet.

The aerials have yet to be completed. More news as things come together.

January 2003

A meeting on the last Sunday of January 2003 was at the Auckland VHF Group inc clubrooms. Over the holidays several ATVers have worked on new transmitters and amplifiers.

Some spare amplifiers for the 50cm band (615 MHz) have been worked on ready for an expedition later the year to Whangarei.

A new output filter for ZL1BQ ATV repeater is being tested out at present.
