Are you looking for an accomplished Security Professional to manage your company's security operations? I combine the unique experience of military, federal government and corporate security experience. The accomplishments noted within the accompanying resume will illustrate the value I can bring to your office.
For nearly the past two years, I have been the Director of Security for Princess Cruises and Cunard Cruise Lines . This position included the security responsibility for some of the largest cruise ships in the world including the Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth 2.
I led a dedicated team of security professionals and planned for the security of these vessels, passengers and crew. My concerns ranged from terrorism and crime to maritime security regulations. I prepared security reports, conducted investigations, and wrote numerous security protocols and policies that included internationally compliant ship security plans. I ensured that our fleet of 22 ships were safe in over 400 ports of call by conducting security advances throughout the world and liaison with other maritime and governmental security officials. I wrote detailed audits of the security in these ports. Working with our IT section, I created a computer Security Database that linked all 22 of our cruise ships with crucial security information.
Previous to this, I was employed for over fifteen years as a Diplomatic Security Special Agent by the U.S. Department of State . I help protected some of the highest risk U.S. Embassies in the world such as Beirut, Moscow, Bolivia and Nicaragua . I have extensive physical security skills. Upon completion of the move from the old embassy building (EOB) to the new embassy building (NOB) in Moscow, for which I wrote the security plan, I was recognized with an Award by the U.S. Ambassador. In addition, in connection with this assignment, I completed numerous other security surveys such as the “Zero Based Review” which examined all security practices in place at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.
