While a Diplomatic Security Agent, I served as a Regional Security Officer at five different United States Embassies. I was responsible for physical security audits and the protection of people and resources. I wrote the access policies for many of these high-risk embassies such as Moscow, Beirut, and Sana'a. I updated and completed the Emergency Action Plans (EAP) for each of these embassies and briefed the Country Team members on related security issues. Finally, I briefed each new post employee on personal and physical security, as well as the protection of classified material
I have extensive security planning experience with U.S. Naval Intelligence as a Force Protection Naval Officer . I authored a security handbook for counter-terrorist boat operations in San Diego Harbor on recent active duty. I served as a Navy Commander (0-5) with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS).
