Long time, no write.

Well, I met my Tandem partner at 12h15 infront of the church at school.  He asked me if I had eatten lunch and I said no.  So what did we do?  Boire un verre!  Then his two guy friends came.  I was sooo bored!  We have nothing in common.   I thought he was into fashion...he was wearing huge big baggy sweatpants!  The swiss don't wear sweatpants in public!  His hair looked like he hadn't been brushed and he just woke up.  It was horrible.

After that, I went to Manor and Fribourg centre in search of stuff for Thanksgiving.  I am making the meal Sunday!! cause Thursday I have school and same with Friday then my family is busy on Saturday. I even asked Vladamir for cranberries.  He did not understand what I was asking for.   He thought I was takling about either Christmas or Halloween and I was looking for Cherries.  He just plain didn't get this American holiday.

Nevertheless, I found Cranberries at Farvagny on Sunday!  I just have to mash them.

Saturday night, I went for a run and came back, showered, and then our company came over!  It was a hockey game of Fribourg-Gotteron against Lausanne and Sebas has season tickets so he went with the guys.  But first they were at my house and ate some stuff.   After that, the girls all went to a Christmas market and then after we came back we watched Star Academy!

Sunday, I went to mass and played in the band.  We were up in the front!  Infront of the whole congregation!  I really need to get a uniform.

Monday, I went to WINS--this special program for girls at the university to show woman can go into the science field.  I chose geology as my topic.  So, I kinda too my time on getting there and talked to Pam at the trainstation.  Then I was late and couldn't find where I was supposed to go.   Then I saw Pauline walk by and asked her and she said Oh this is geology!  So nevertheless, it was a rather boring day looking at rocks through a microscope then watchinga  slideshow on plate tectonics.  So, I hung out with this girl, Anouk, she goes to a different school.   We also hung out all day tuesday, she's really nice.  She even asked for my cell phone number.

Hate to cut this short and not update about today and some weird off the subject topics but I gotta catch the train!!

Tomorrow, I will definately tell you about how sad I am that I won't be there to celebrate Thanksgiving in my home country!!

So have a very very very Happy Thanksgiving and eat lots of pumpkin pie for me!!
