Wow...this is a lot of updates in a row!
This morning in math class I actually I asked the teacher for help and I understood! I had already gotten far in the problem too. I guess Calculus is coming back to me...that and I have my T-I 83 Plus in cool blue.
I was looking through the paper last night and I found an ad for a store and it has a picture of a horse on it! It is in Fribourg, I ripped the ad out. I just don't know where it is. Ihave to ask someone.
I was determined to make the banana bread last night but we didnt have enough eggs. So, I had to go ask the neighbors for an egg. I got there and only Damien, 13 yearold, was there. I asked for 2 eggs and he had no clue what I was saying! He asked if I needed the key to the house. I then asked if his parents were home and he said no. So I finally said thanks and left. P-A returned with me and we did successfully get two eggs!! I made the bread and I ate alot of it! It's sooo goood. I love banana bread! I am gonna try to make cherry nut bread next.
I told P-A I saw Vladamir at Fribourg. He told me he is leaving soon to go to Toronto, Canada for 3 months! P-A doesn't know when he leaves. I will ask Vladmir (what a weird name) at band practice on Monday, since the percussion will start coming. I don't think three months is long enough. I am glad I am still here. I've been here for 3 months and 8 days. it just wouldn't have been enough if I went home 8 days ago!!
Next Monday and Tuesday I don't go to school. Instead, I have this thing called WINS it's for the girls to go to a college and see that we can do things...or something like that. So I am gonna be studying the Alps for two days in French. It should be fun and it will be a change from normal school.
My host family is thinking about going to the Dominican Republic when I am at the ski camp in January. If they do, I will be home alone for 5 days and at the camp for 5 days. I told them, I will throw a party.
Well I better get going to Italian! After that, I am meeting Michel, my tandem partner, infront of the church. I hope it goes well cause I really don't feel like doing anything with him right now!! Sad, huh???
