| Lomi Lomi is an ancient practice of massage from the Islands of Hawaii that is profoundly healing and nutruing. There are many forms of Limi originating from from differint families and passed down from one generation to the next. Though there are differing stles of Lomi Lomi they all have the same intention: To provide a scared space for the reciepent to let go and surrender to the guidance of their own spirit. Lomi Lomi relaxes the nervous system, increases the flow of blood, opens capilaries, releases energetic blockages, and allows for a warm moist heat to penetrate the body. | Hot Stone therapy intergates the art of stone bodywork with the healing arts of Ayurveda, accupressure, and reflexology. Heated massged into the skin then placed along the body's energy line and points, like those found in accupuncture. Heated stones are used with oil as a took for deep tissue work in key areas designed to releve chronic muscle tenstion, aches, and fatigue. The stones help balance the body's natural physical and engergetic rhythms. |
