My sister is Molly Darling, sometimes called “Little Red,”
and Bonnie C. is Empress Bee. Our allows you to take on a
different persona. It's a way to recapture the fun."
Who wants to be our SongBird? She calls everyone
to remind us of things...we're forgetters...

When I stand before God at the end of my life,
I hope I can look him in the eye, not hide and
feel ashamed or horrified, afraid.
I've always looked forward to that moment,
but have never been a hurry for it to come.
That's because I like to have fun a lot,
and I love to do things and make things,
and there's just so much to do yet.

So, at fifty I made a list of things I wanted to do,
wrote a book, moved to a house with no stairs,
dressed the way I want to,
colored my hair orange-red…
got married...ohwell...Oh, we trike...
Every year I love my friends more and
it's been so much fun deciding not to be
thirty-nine forever.

One day, you'll know what I mean if you don't already.
Well, I sure hope you get to know - it's an adventure
that begins at turning fifty.

********There are no dues, no rules, and
members cover their own expenses for meals,
admission to events, and so forth.
Members at all organized events of the chapter wear
purple dresses or suits and red hats.
Members under 50 wear pink or lavender hats and lavender dresses.
There has to be a 'big' celebration when a Red Rose turns Red Hatter!!!

The spirit of the society forbids that we make rules,
but we strongly suggest that you not wear the full red
and purple until you are fifty. Younger members are invited
to wear all types of pink hats and all shades of lavender clothing
and to otherwise participate fully in all that the Red Hat Society
has to offer. These colors are fairly popular in the malls lately,
so you shouldn't have any problem finding chic attire.
