Young or old, now is the time for you to start learning a Martial Art that incorporates the self defence techniques of three disciplines - Judo,
Ju-Jitsu and Karate. Along the way you will also gain physical and mental fitness as well as learning self confidence, self control, patience and relaxation techniques. Apart from learning basic kicks, blocks, hand strikes and throwing techniques some of the stronger points to Mishundo are learning to defend and counter;
There are also three Karate Katas, two Kobudo Katas, breakfall and breathing techniques you will learn.
MISHUNDO is an education, not only in the physical and mental forms of the Martial Arts, but as a style that attempts to improve ourselves in general life, family, social and business affairs which are dealt with every day of our lives. Within the MISHUNDO style the ultimate result shall be whatever the individual exerts, for as a hinge will rust from disuse, so then will the human mind and body. There are no quick methods or short cuts to learning. Always practice patience during the training process and respect the instructors and most importantly, your training partner. If there is first a solid foundation and one can fluently perform the basics, then harder intricated steps or techniques will follow easier. Be true to yourself and keep a peaceful and open mind, because anger creates more anger, then temper and control will be lost when needed most. Whilst learning remember that you do not have to prove yourself to anyone else, be self confident, so that in a crisis, you, as an individual can handle it.
