What is Racism?


According to the American Heritage Dictionary racism is the belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. It used to be that racism was shown face to face, maybe threatening letters, or physically even, propaganda used to be very popular in the past and was distributed to many people. Below are a few examples of propaganda articles in the form of literature, t-shirts and cartoons through the newspapers.


Now as technology has advanced people have found new outlets to express their racist feelings. The internet is being used as a space for people to act racist. As we will find out shortly there are many sites made specifically for people to act racist and show their feelings and also take a quick view and the anti-racist sites that want to stop this form of racism.
