As we all know we have the right of freedom in the United States, which does give us the right to express our opinions to extremes on the internet. That is one of the major drawbacks to having the internet as a racist space, people are taking to extremes! You might think well if its too extreme for someone than don't go on the sites, but taking it to the next level there are sites like the KKK or the Aryan nation's website where intentions are much more than just expressing feelings and giving information. These sites have specific dates and group meetings where people can physically get involved in racism. Take a look at the following sites, you can find pictures such as these and browse at some of the extreme views these groups have.
The anonymity part of being racist on the internet is also a drawback because, your next door neighbor can be one of those persons expressing their feelings in a blog, or even worse a member of a racist group, and you don't even know it. It's dangerous because you could be in danger and not even know it as well.
