From where I sat (Sections E & A during practice and qualifying, and Section A during the race) I wasn't able to see the infield sections very well, but I got a very good look at Turn 13 (Turn 1 for Indy 500 and Brickyard 400) and the straight. On Friday practice, everyone drove the conventional line, making apex just past half way into the turn. Michael Schumacher, however, passed Frentzen from the outside during practice and started to take his line a car width and a half up the turn afterwards (see both photos). He used this line during qualifying, and the race.
