Simon Ait grew up in the school of hard knocks. He ran away from his pitiful excuse for a home at an early age, already indoctrinated into the ways of hand-to-hand combat thanks to his father. Street combat was a natural outlet for his inner rage, and thanks to the powerful frame provided to him by puberty, he was soon wiping the floor with most of his unfortunate opponents.

He soon started running with a gang of thugs who were all interested in physical confrontations. This gang was small time, but was watched by a more serious group of actual organized crime who were looking for potential recruits. Simon stood out from the crowd, and was recruited very quickly into more serious business. He was a valuable asset for the group, but unfortunately, things changed when the new Simon ran into his father. A chance meeting in a parking garage turned into Murder 1 with Simon on the run.

He fled to Germany, changed his name, and didn't look back for a number of years, learning a more subtle brand of thievery in Europe. Feeling that his name was buried deep enough, he came back to the states looking for more serious work.
