The Diamond Girl recruitment process involves several steps.  First, in the Fall an information meeting is held to inform students about the duties and expectations of the Diamond Girls organization.  Next, interested students must fill out an application so that the selection committee can learn more about them.  Once        applications are received, a written test is administered in the athletic department to test the girls' Millsaps Baseball knowledge.  Immediately following the test, an individual interview will be conducted with a small panel consisting of some Diamond Girls and at least one baseball player.  Within a few days of interviews, the girls chosen will be notified by phone or campus mail.
Though Diamond Girl recruitment may seem intimidating, it helps the organization make sure it chooses members who are well-educated on baseball and plan to be dedicated to the squad.  If you have any questions about becoming a Millsaps Baseball Diamond Girl, please email the Captain, Emily Ford, at [email protected].
