The Millsaps  Baseball Diamond Girls have several opportunities for leadership positions.  Officers include the following:
Captain: The Captain is responsible for new member recruitment in the Fall, organizing  the schedules for the season, and delegating authority to the other officers.  She must work well with others and have a lot of time to dedicate to  the organization.  This job requires meeting often with coaches and advisors,  and making sure things run smoothly between Diamond Girls and the players.   She must  have previous Millsaps Diamond Girl experience.
Co-Captain(s):  The Co-Captain is responsible for assisting the Captain with meetings and  informing the girls what needs to be done.  She will help supervise the games  she attends when the Captain is not present.
Statistician: This office is for someone  experienced in keeping stats. She will be trained how to run the computer stats  and how to keep the book as well.  She will be able to choose 1 or 2 other girls  to help her out with keeping stats at the games she cannot attend.
Treasurer:  The Treasurer is responsible for keeping up with the money made during  concessions, cost of materials for favors, scrapbook, uniforms, T-shirts, etc.  She must keep up with receipts and keep sound records of expenses and income.
Public  Relations: The office of PR is responsible for designing and hanging the flyers for home  games and Smith-Wills stadium games.  She also designs good-luck notes for  players and organizes meeting to help hang up flyers on campus.
Historian: The Historian is responsible for the design and construction of the scrapbook  for the players to view in their locker room towards the end of the season.  She  must take pictures and collect articles and other necessary items to complete  this task before the Conference Tournament takes place.
Spirit  Chair: The Spirit Chair is responsible for coming up with ideas of things to do for the  players and coaches.  This includes happies in the locker room, in the dugout,  getting signs painted for games, etc.
Fundraiser Chair: The fundraiser chair is responsible for coming up with ways for the Diamond Girls to  raise money for T-shirts, uniforms, Spirit Chair activities and any other  materials we might need for the organization.  This girl is also in charge of  getting the Diamond Girls involved in the fundraisers she comes up with.
