Transkei Police
The Transkei Police (TP) was established when the Transkei homeland became independent in October 1976, and was incorporated into the new South African Police Service (SAPS) in January 1995. It had a series of orders, decorations and medals, corresponding to the principal SA Police awards of the period. They became obsolete in January 1995.

For 35 years service.
TP Medal for Faithful Service: Silver (1976-85)
For 30 years service.
Insignia: A circular silver medal displaying the Transkei coat of arms (obverse) and the head of the Transkei parliamentary mace with appropriate wording (reverse).

For 30 years service.
TP Faithful Service Medal (20 years) (1985-94)
For 20 years service.
TP Medal for Faithful Service: Bronze (1976-85)
For 18 years service.
Insignia: Similar to the 1976-85 medal for 30 years service, but in bronze.
