I cant believe it's the 1st of July already.
We are picking produce from our garden now. Courgettes, lettuce, radishes,
the tomatoes wont be too long now before they ripen.

The weather has been changeable.
Hot and sunny one day, lots of rain the next, causing
really hot and humid conditions to follow.

The 4th of July Fireworks were unfortunately washed out
it's just like home. Well.. nothing like home really......
Wimbledon has been enthralling and to see everyone in
T.Shirts and shorts is unreal.
So we have decided to fly home.
We handed in our notice here yesterday (The 4th.)
and head to Florida on the 16th for a new exciting venture.
We've had a great time here and have certainly achieved more than we'd hoped ...Memberships are up, Day visitors are up, Restaurant Turnover is up,
General Enthusiasm is up... so we're leaving on a high note.
The activities schedule is full and everything in order so now is the time to go.
But before we start our new jobs we're heading for England.
Dates to be confirmed.
Watch this space.
20th Mike's Birthday.....we're settled into GCResort and are back to playing tennis again. We went to see Jurassic Park III last night....GRRReeeeaaat.
Then had a late meal and felt stuffed. Mike's enjoying the day watching the British Open Golf Championships live from Blackpool where it is a balmy 65f/18c  and I'm catching up on the internet as we have just got connected again.
The Tour D'France is racing through the mountains en route to Paris.

We have confirmed our flight dates. August 1st to September 19th.
We will continue to update the diary when away and hope to post more pix from home.

The weather forcast here is thunderstorms, temps in the high 80's, humidity high 80's.
The actual temps are in the high 90's and rain around 4 oclock every day.
At home right now they're having a heat wave, high 80's for 2 days in a row!

Cheerio for now.....see you in August file!
