Germanic Palisaded Village Camp

Germanic/Gallic/Celtic Palisaded Village Camp

This camp was built to fit a wide variety of armies, from Germanic armies like Franks, Burgundians or Saxons, to Gauls or Celts, Goths, etc. It features a scratch-built, wooden palisade and a resin, thatch-roofed hut I bought from JR Miniatures. I was particularly happy with how the axe-wielding guard came out. Note in the alleys behind him, the brindle-coated dog and pig rooting amongst the muddy lanes. The guard is from the "Barbarian Foot" line from Chariot Miniatures, while the pig and dog (I believe) are from Falcon UK.

This camp was sold on ebay.
