Ruined Greek Temple camp

Greek Ruined Temple Camp

This camp could be used for Greeks, Romans, Byzantines -- just about any Classical Mediterranean army. The vignette features a soldier guarding (and partaking of) some of the supplies that are being stored inside a ruined temple on a hill. A camp follower is leading a donkey away from the temple, loaded up with four jugs of wine for the camp (or commanders!). This camp is entirely scratch-built. The hill's rise is built up using craft foam and Liquitex, while the temple's floor and column's bases and capitals are styrene plastic. The columns themselves are wood. The containers are decorative beads.

The guard is a modified Greek peltast from Chariot Miniatures, while the camp follower is a modified slinger form the same line. The donkey (I believe) is from Falcon UK -- either that or Chariot Miniatures...I've mixed all my donkeys up together, so I forget which came from which!

This camp was sold on ebay.
