Camp Sections

Camp Sections

These were some of the first camp scenes I made. They are 40mm square sections of bass wood, intended to double duty as DBA camps and DBM "Baggage" elements. Front left is a modified Greek javelinman checking out some scratch-built bass wood crates. In the front center is a blacksmith I modified from a Dark Age spearman. To the right is a pile of logs made from the soft plastic sprues that 1/72 plastic figs come on. The stump is a shaped piece of bass wood, and the axe is a leftover weapon. In the back row are two tent sections, simple folded squares of card stock. Between them is a cookfire with bass wood supports.

Although these sectionals do not compare with some of my more recent camps for diorama quality, they are nice and generic. Plus, if I think someone is going to be a little "hard" on my stuff, and possibly damage it, I give them these to borrow.
