Hikes

Southern California - Northern California

I've arranged these hikes into sections by the places that I've been hiking recently. Hawaii is where I started hiking, SoCal is where I hike now, and Northern California is where I want to hike more. Utah just happens to be a place I went on vacation a short while ago. These are just the hikes that I have pictures from. Since I'll be filling this in forwards and backwards in time from August 2002, some of the hikes do not have links, but I'll try to fix this in the coming months.

Southern California

• Sturtevant Falls, Angeles National Forest, 5/03. Cabins, crib dams, and a 40 foot waterfall.
• Gabrielino Trail to Bear Canyon Trail Campground, Angeles National Forest, 4/03. Waterfalls, water slides, and pools.
• Trail Canyon Trail, Angeles National Forest, 4/03. Beautiful wildflower and creek hike to a 50 foot waterfall.
• Crown of the Sea, Corona del Mar, 7/02. More of a walk than a hike, but a beautiful part of Orange County.

Northern California

• Log Meadow Loop, Sequoia National Park, 7/02. Ramble through giant sequoia groves.
• Moro Rock, Sequoia National Park, 7/02. Precipitous must-do climb to sweeping granite overlook.
• Zumwalt Meadow Loop, Kings Canyon National Park, 7/02. Rich and varied mountain, forest, stream, and meadow vistas.
