Whether you're a theologian, scientist, agnostic, atheist, or somewhere in between, one fact is absolutely certain, inarguable. Before the beginning, before the Big Bang, before the Creation, there existed just one thing. Within this singular object was everything that is. All matter, energy, space, time, and the laws of nature. And so, whatever this thing was, it is our God.

According to science, the object was a tiny speck. However, they can't explain how this tiny speck came to exist or why it exploded. There can be only one answer to this mystery.

The tiny speck from whence came all that is was once a huge star, so massive that its gravitational field created the boundary of the entire universe. Even to the non-religious, the only suitable name for such a star is God. Intriguingly, Jesus stated in the Holy Bible, "I am the root and the offspring of ... the bright Morning Star."

As with all large stars, this one collapsed upon itself. Since it was so huge it continued collapsing into an ultimate black hole, or rather, a tiny speck. With literally the weight and force of the whole universe crushing into its core, the greatest nuclear explosion resulted. The Big Bang. Eventually, as the universe cools and begins to fall back upon itself, the star will reform, and the entire process will replay ad infinitum.

As stated, this star contained everything that exists, which must include consciousness since consciousness certainly does exist. Meaning the star itself may have been a conscious entity, or being.

The nature of consciousness is the real mystery (or magic) of the universe. And since neither science nor religion can explain where the tiny speck or God came from, perhaps the universe itself is a form of consciousness.

A unified viewpoint would suggest that the Big Bang was an act of conscious will by and of God, the billions of years of universal evolution that followed were the six days of Creation, and the seventh day during which God rested began the moment man first questioned his surroundings.

The remarkable similarities between the Big Bang and Creation theories strongly support just such a unified theory. Science revealed to our most brilliant scholars the order of Creation only recently, and it is the same order given to us thousands of years ago by the unlearned, somewhat primitive writers of the Holy Bible. One could argue that this is evidence of Divine Inspiration, the universal consciousness revealing itself to man.
