Recollections

The Class of 68 had its Reunion on the weekend of June 6th, 7th and 8th, 2003 at Midland.  We were joined by almost everyone in the class, from as far as Maine and as near as Midland. Additionally we were joined by Allen and Diana Russell who started at Midland the same year we did.

We seemed to share an emotional high, and a certain sense of awe and wonder.  The place was much the same as when we were kids, and we were much the same as well. Happy hours were filled with memories and laughter as we stepped back in time together.

Many thanks to Midland for opening its doors for us, to Dan Shapiro for the many hours and phone calls, to BG Kresse who fed and housed us, and Jim Quick who organized a class project.

We’ll use this spot to collect thoughts and recollections of our lives at Midland. Can you remember a Midland adventure that made you laugh, or some peculiar incident that made Midland a unique and meaningful experience?

Please email your work to Earle.
