Weapons:
Note: These are just descriptions of general weapons. You don't have to choose what's exactly described here. An example is, if you wanted a long sword type of weapon. You don't have to have exactly the name of the weapon type be long sword. You can modify it, let's say, to a Light Edge, which has the general properties of a long sword, but it is not exactly like it. Choose your weapon carefully, because you can't normally just change the type of weapon you use in the beginning.



Swords:        

        Gladius: A 22' inch blade; superior for melee fighting. Medium weight, hard to master; excellent with magic. There are few variations of this weapon.
        Long Sword: A sword about 4 to 5 feet in length. Light, but hard to use; superior for melee fighting; superior with magic. There are several variations of this weapon.
        Short Sword: A blade that is about one foot long; excellent for melee fighting. There are several variations of this weapon.
        Katana: A blade about two the three feet long used mainly by Samurai/Ronin; Heavy but powerful; okay with magic. Superior for melee fighting.
        Claymore: A sword about 5 feet in length, and about two to four inches wide; excellent in melee fighting. Very powerful, but heavy and cumbersome.
       Broad Sword: A blade about 3 1/2 feet in length, and two-three inches wide; excellent for melee fighting. Strong, but heavy; there are many variations of this weapon.
       Sabre: A slightly curved sword about two feet in length; light and easy to use; excellent for melee fighting. Okay with magic; there are many variations of this weapon.
       Machete: A large blade with a normal handle, no pommel. Deceptively light weight, hard to use; superior for melee fighting. There are few variations of this weapon.
       Scimitar: A thin, curved blade about two 1/2 feet in length; Light, easy to use; excellent in pairs for melee fighting. Okay with magic; there are many variations of this weapon.


Axe/Clubs:        

        Black Root Axe: An axe with a two sided blade; powerful, heavy, and slow. Poor with magic; excellent for cleaving through massed enemy. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Plane Axe: Plane axe, is one sided; Strong, heavy, and slow. Excellent for cutting down trees and enemies; poor with magic.
        Hatchet: Small, short handled axe ment for one handed use; Okay for melee fighting. Excellent for throwing.
        Iron Cudgel: Large, heavy bludgeoning weapon; powerful, but slow; poor with magic. Okay with melee fighting. Excellent for breaking through blocks; there are few variations of this weapon.
        Enchanted Cudgel: Large, heavy bludgeoning weapon; Powerful, but slow; superior with magic. Hard to use and master; okay with melee fighting. Excellent for breakthing through blocks.
        Oak Club: Medium, heavy bludgeoning weapon; slow. Poor with magic; okay with melee fighting. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Bronze Club: Large, heavy bludgeoning weapon; but slow. Okay with magic; okay with melee fighting. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Mace: Large, heavy bludgeoning weapon; powerful, but slow. Studded with metal spikes; okay with melee fighting. There are few variations of this weapon.
        War Hammer: Large, heavy bludgeoning weapon; but slow. Okay with magic; okay with melee fighting. There are several variations of this weapon.


Knives:       

        Dirk: More of a sailer type of knife ment for slicing ropes; Okay for melee fighting. Excellent for throwing; there are few variations of this weapon.
        Dagger: A medium knife with serrated edge; Poor for melee fighting. Superior for throwing; there are many variations of this weapon.
        Long Knife: A knife nearly 1 ft long; Okay for melee fighting. Superior for throwing; there are few variations of this weapon.


Claw/Glove:

        Studded Cestus: A leather glove that comes down across the knuckles enclosing the hand; has claws the cover the top of the cestus; excellent for melee fighting. There are several variations of this weapon.
        Claw Cestus: Like studded cestus except it has several claws where the hand knuckles are at; excellent for melee fighting. Okay with magic.
        Gladiator Cestus: A glove made from dragon skin that has either claws or spikes on the knuckles depending on the user; superior for melee fighting. There are several variations of this weapon.
        Iron Claw: Three iron cast claws that are connected to a hold that can be tied to the hands or wrists; Excellent for melee fighting. There are several variations of this weapon; excellent with magic.
        Bronze Claw: Three bronze cast claws that are connected to a leather hand grip; Excellent for melee fighting and climbing. Okay with magic.
        Master Claw: Four claws of any metal that are connected to a dragon skin hand grip; superior for melee fighting and climbing. There are several variations of this weapon; excellent with magic.
        *note: you get two gloves/claws since they require two to be properly used.


Staffs/Rods/Wands:

        Iron Rod: The basic rod cast in iron; about five-six feet in length. Basic weapon for novice magic users; Okay at melee fighting; Excellent at magic. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Crystal Rod: A crystalline rod, about five-six feet in length; superior in magic; recommended for advanced magic users. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Master Rod: A rod about six feet in length of any material; Superior in magic; recommended for masters. There are few variations of this weapon.
        Mage Staff: The basic staff carved from oak; about four-five feet in length. Basic weapon for novice magic users; okay at melee fighting; Excellent at magic. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Wizard Staff: A staff carved from a willow tree; about four-five feet in length. Recommended for advanced magic users; excellent at magic. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Master Staff: A staff carved from normally a rowan tree, but any tree will do; about six feet in length. recommended for masters. Superior in magic; there are few variations of this weapon.
        Wand: An enchanted oaken stick about one feet long used by beginner and novice magic users; okay with magic; poor at melee fighting. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Enchanter Wand: An enchanted willow stick about one foot long used by advanced magic users; excellent with magic; poor at melee fighting. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Master Wand: An enchanted rowan wand about two feet long with numerous decorations unique to each user; superior with magic; poor at melee fighting. There are few variations of this weapon.


Spears/Arrows:

        Javelin: A rod with an iron blade at each end; excellent for throwing. Okay with melee fighting; excellent at long range. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Spear: A long piece of wood or metal with a single metal blade at one end; okay with melee fighting; excellent at long range; excellent for throwing. Okay with magic; there are many variations of this weapon.
        Calvary Spear: Used for calvary(horse back) fighters in battle; poor at melee fighting; excellent at stabbing; excellent for throwing. There are few variations of this weapon.
        Lance: A rod about six to seven feet in length with any metal blade at both ends, or just one end; excellent for throwing. Excellent with melee fighting; excellent at long range; hard to master. Excellent with magic; there are few variations of this weapon.
        Wood Arrow: A standard arrow carved from wood; okay at keeping target; poor at piercing. Easy to use; easy to make. There are few variations of this weapon.
        Metal Arrow: A standard arrow forged from metal; good at keeping target; excellent at piercing. Hard to use; okay to make. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Magic Arrow: A standard arrow infused with magic, or a pure magical arrow; superior at keeping target; superior at piercing. Need magic to make; need magic to use. There are many variations of this weapon.


Bows:
        Short Bow: Bow with about a 20 ft range max; able to use only wood and magic arrows; okay at long range. Okay at magic.
        Long Bow: Bow with about a 45 ft range max; able to use all arrows; excellent at long range; recommended for advanced archers. Excellent with magic.
        Composite Bow: Bow with about a 45 ft. range; able to use wood and metal arrows only; okay at long range. Excellent with magic.
        War Bow: Bow with about a 70 ft. range max; able to use only wood and metal arrows; superior at long range; used by master archers; Superior with magic.
        Cross Bow: Gun-like bow with about a 65 ft. range and a sight max; able to use all types of arrows; superior at long range; Excellent with magic.


Tridents:

        Wooden Pitchfork: Your basic hay fork only difference is that it has metal tips
        Trident: A rod of either wood or metal with three prongs at one end; prongs are tipped with metal; excellent with melee fighting; excellent for throwing; good at magic. There are many variations of this weapon.
        Twin Trident: A rod of either wood or metal with three prongs on both ends; prongs are tipped with metal; superior with melee fighting; excellent for throwing; excellent at magic. There are few variations of this weapon.
        Master Trident: A rod of blue diamond with three white diamond prongs on one end; prongs are naturally sharp; superior with melee fighting; superior for throwing; superior at magic. There are few variations of this weapon.


Misc.:

        Scythe: A long pole of either metal or wood that ends with a curved blade extending horizontaly; hard to master; okay with melee fighting; excellent with magic. There are few variations of this weapon.
        Sickle: A short pole of either metal or wood that ends with a curved blade extending horizontally; hard to master; excellent in pairs; excellent in melee fighting; okay with magic. There are few variations of this weapon.
        Master Scythe: A pole of black crystal about six feet long that ends with a curved blade extending three feet horizontally; hard to master; okay with melee fighting; superior with magic. There are few variations of this weapon.
