Was it a vision or a dream? Fled is that music.. Do I wake or do i sleep? - Keats
January 6, 2004 Merry Little Christmas! Or shall i say Merry "Damn it all to hell it's time to take down all the decorations" day? Well, well, well it is 2004 and amongst all the usual disbelief that another year has came and gone lies 100 resolutions about how to make this year the best one yet. This year will be the year where everything goes right according to plan and I will find myself frolicking in the meadows with a newfound body that has earned me the nick name "Guns O'steele", writing brilliant papers, finally being able to play my guitar like the inner Rock god i was born to be, and doing somethign incredibly significant that will change somone's life. Riiight. Alright since we all know that NOTHING ever goes according to plan, i will settle on cutting down on el diet soda, jamming beyond the power chords, writing papers before the night before they are due, and maybe brigthening someone's day with a batch of brownies. So I'm pretty excited about going back to school. Home has its perks but I've definitely had my fill of Sears and sleeping. I'm hoping that I stay on top of things this semester more so than last one. I also hope that the speakeasy of 410 gets its bootstraps into swing early on :o) Stephanie and I have to start planning the Crush so we don't get 40 lashings by sister anazi. And more importantly, there has and i mean HAS to be a trip up to Canada sometime this semester for fun in the Canadian sun. Alright I'm bored right now but I'm too bored to really even think of anything else to write. So i'm going to skip on out and leave you with a diligent sheep crocheting a sock. Peace

Movies I've seen over a break: Roman Holiday: When it comes to Audrey Hepburn, there simply is no match for her talent, beauty, and grace. Great flick that brought back a lot of memories of the summer. Helen of Troy: USA made for tv miniseries about the Trojan War and some easy tease named Helen. It was pretty good but they definitely let the movie get sloppy at the end. How to Deal: I love Mandy in the most heterosexual way possible! I liked this movie a lot, although there are some people who strongly disagree. Rent it! It's cute and has many sub stories to keep it more interesting than most "teen movies." Something's got to give: Old people have sex. Jack Nicholson has a lot of it. Diane Keaton cries, shrieks, and tries to be cute and pouty. Um... that's about it. Lord of the Rings 3: Nice conclusion to an epic trilogy. I was impressed but I felt that there were too many resolutions to the ending. Gollum is cute like a baby panda. Terminator 3- TX killed some people and I killed 2 hours. This one has nothing on the either two movies. Pirates of the Carribean- Second time seeing this. Orlando Bloom is hot. Kiera Knightly is beautiful. There's something for everyone in this movie School of Rock: Turned out to be a lot better than it looked from the previews. Coulda done without Joan Cusack in the movie.
