Great night at the Metro with Lorrie and Matt. ALl the bands were pretty darn rad-especially divide by zero and my bloody valentine-- and what more could you ask for for a measly 5 dollar show! Coulda done without getting made fun of by the 13 year old girl for wearing a tank top instead of some new trendy band shirt--i guess im just not punk enough....Maybe if i spend all my money at Hot Topic I can be cool too! Maybe...... Anyway it was sweet i caught a free 504 plan shirt that the singer flung out and after a near death experience with a flying piece of wood, I realized I had also caught the Spitalfield drummer's drum stick. Rad! Everyone seemed to enjoy the show, it was a much better turn out than I had anticipated. After the show we went to a Bizarro Les Brother's in Lemont.. All in all very blaze night--can't wait for further seems forever in 2 weeks!
June 26-- House of Blues presents Further Seems forever, the movielife, autopilot off, and anberlin---This is gonna be a good one!!! Don't miss it!!

OK wow, can we talk about a fucking amazing show???!! Ok lemme recount the night--Lol im turning into Jt (i mean that in a good way!!)
Ok well im sittin at home typing along typing along feeling bummed that i dont have a ticket and this super cool kid (who i like to call an angel from GOd) emails me and says he has 3 left and who ever calls em can buy em! I ran to the phone faster than my dad at the old country buffet and bing bang boom me and Lorrielie were on our way!! So we got on the train, passing up the waste and time of money called "a terrorist practice drill" and after pondering if we were supposed to take the blue line or the red line hopped on the train. Ok so we get there and its freeeeeeeeeezing and this kid is like lost in like HIggetysquare Illinois, so we sit tight. In the mean time i ripped of a trio poster from a pole and the dude on the corner said i was a freakin thief..eh all in a days work. So as we're standing there my phone rings and its the guy standing next to me...I paid him the greens, shed a tear of happiness, and claimed him as my new best friend. So Lorrie and I go in scout out our stances while the first band pitch black is on. They weren;t exactly my cup of tea. Then pretty girls make graves came on. It was cool that their lead singer was a girl, and they were pretty good, but i mean how can you really appreciate it when all you are doing is waiting for the trio??? So by this time i have already given up holding the poster i snatched and in between sets i was wondering how my belt became unbuckled.......Anyways, the curtain drops and they open up with We've had enough...everyones going nuts, i havent been that crammed sinch Belmont of maybe the first time at the Metro..But i was holding my own with the dudes around me...Such great old school fans! None of those ooo they are on the radio, lets go so we can do something cool people....---You know who im talking baout...Anwyas they rocked a good playlist including....We've had enough, fatally yours, all on black, 100 stories, baby blue (thats not the title), 97, sundials, i lied my face off, armageddon, my friend peter, innocent boy,cringe, um a lot more but its all a blur now..Anywas they did not play radio! Crazy Skiba....Crazy. So the show ends and me and lorrie are soaked with sweat.... my Canyon river jeans have seen their last day and we swing over back to the train..we we had a battle with the vending machine. We get on and this huge homeless man keeps screaming..."Im doing the fucking Dew" "lets do the do, this is extreme man" So hes all screaming all over theplace and comes over to our side and starts like talking about all jibber jabber, and telling us how alcohold is bad and moutnain dew is the way to go. Then he asks who saw the A team and i shoot my hand up--and he goes "YOU THE GIRL!! YOU THE FUCKING GIRL!", we are all crackin up and he starts doing mr. t impressions. We all gave him some money and he was like "girl, why yo money all wet? You been slamdancin or some crazy shit like that" Then he heafed Lorries Moutain Dew which she was trying to stow away...but he was too sharp for those games. So he then starts singing Bon Jovi "Dead or Alive" and he but JOn to shame lemme tell ya. So alas the night ended with driving back home and me curling up with Great Expectations to hear about the silly lil adventures of Pip. Thanks Lorrie for a great time, thanks curly haired lil dude, and thanks big dude on the train---you all made for one hell a night :o)
