This is my windows98 help  page if you have ended up here then you maybe also got bored with thecountless  hourthat(microscoff),

microsoft would have you searching through hundreds of pages,one day I was huntingfor two hours for a file that my computer reckons was missing,to hunt through i dont know how many different pages to findthat  i didnt need it at all as i was downloading a newer version that thisfile  was included in(you would be on ages running your phone billup)i havetried  onnumerous occasions to replace a file that got lostor gotdeleted (byaccident)i  have run norton on my system a few times and all that does is everythingyou  deleteit doesnt delete you end up your hdd space that you had dissappears  and becomes any large program you deleted.... it storesthem on your hard  drive and trying to get rid of this is a proper pain.or worse stillyour files  just disappeared like commonly happens (this colourscreen)   if you try to turn it off or oni know as it has happened to mycomputer  manytimes and i got ratherfed up with returning it to where itcame from for  themto sort the problem out forme, so itookitupon myselftolearn as much  asi could about win 98.mine is 98 secondeditionif thereisany differenceplease  tell me?.You have probably crashedthingsa fewtimesyourself andalreadyknow  the basics of windows,thats easyenoughtogetyou through,what wouldyoudo  if youturned it on one day tofindit didntbootup and then you triedtoget  itgoingwithyour rescue diskand thatdidntwork and then you triedtheone thatyou made with yourvirusprog (ifyouhave one of them not sureifall virus progs havethem?)thenyouwouldberather p-----dat it by then!!!.Ialready knew a fairbitabout win95havinghadit on two different computersnot too differentjusta bitfasterandafew more tools,as wheni had to takeit back itwas alwaysgonetwo tothreedaysata time,and you knowhow boringit is to not haveyourcomputerforafewdays.If you have games onit,or typingprogramswhich you useregularlyorwhateverit is you use itfor. I am notclaimingtobea wizz on computers,ificanhelpyou in anywaywrite me ane-mail(soonimayalsohave a phoneline)dependingon howiget on with this project ,i know youareprobably thinking this looks scruffybut itdoesnt viewed with netscapethisis the problem that all of these nicecompanies create thisis not compatiblewith that, or that but you could getthis or that,thatwouldfix this thenthat  would go wrong,i know youunderstand....ifyouhavea problemofanydescription concerning your hardware,softwareetc.(iwont chargeyou asmuchas these big  names would, they are allon therip,even whereigot thisfrom are trying to  charge silly amountsfornextto nothing)!!!
