| Here�s my long-ass (and late) FCW recap. Kudos if you make it to all 4 pages... |
| I left my home at 4 a.m. on Thursday morning to make it to the airport. A friend who doesn�t watch GH (has only seen some edits) went with me, and she was a trooper all weekend. When we arrived, our plane was delayed and we ended up leaving very late, so late in fact, that we missed our connecting flight in Houston. We spent a few hours in the Houston airport panicked that we would have to take a flight the next day (the only time they could get us confirmed seats) and might not make Nancy�s event. Also, it was looking like we were going to miss �Wicked� which we had tickets for Thursday night. |
| In any case, we finally got two standby seats and made it to LA JUST in time to get our rental car, find the hotel, check into the hotel, change clothes, and make it to the show. We were late though and missed the first two songs. It was still worth it. �Wicked� is incredible. So, I spent almost my entire birthday driving, in airports worrying about catching flights, or rushing about like a madwoman trying to find places. I was exhausted after the show, and in no mood to go and celebrate or find friends, so we called it a night. The next day was 1,000 times better! |
| We slept in a bit and then went and did some of the �touristy� LA things, like visit Grauman�s Chinese Theater, he Hollywood Walk of Fame, etc. My friend even roped me into going to the Hollywood Wax Museum and the Guinness Museum (um, yeah). They were both good for a laugh. |

| I did get my photo taken again with Cary Grant�s handprints, a full 10 years after the first time. I guess there are a few who know this about me, but I�m a Cary Grant fanatic. |
| I also managed to find the stars of my favorite CG leading ladies (Katharine Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Myrna Loy, and Eva Marie Saint, the only one I couldn�t find was Audrey Hepburn). |
