    This thesis explores the process of economic socialization in the American teenager. It explores specifically the roles of home, family, community, and school in terms of socio economic status as the key elements in the economic socialization of the young adult.

    Finding Talent
    This paper uses interviews with executives from lower managerial to CEO level at a major global company to explore how the dynamic of hiring works in terms of sociology. Namely, I explore how one's person connections and affiliations, things we might thing of as "social" affect decisions that are recognized as having "economic" impacts.

    Ever On EverQuest
    This paper focuses on the emerging and maturing dynamic of the massively multi-player role-playing game (MMORPG) with EverQuest and its players as a case example. This paper uses pychoanalytical approaches to the study of pop culture to explore how EverQuest fulfills emotional needs thus capturing an addicted heavy using fan base. The paper also looks at EverQuest through the lense of critical theory such as the school of Social Capitalists and the Frankfurt School of Marxist cultural theory.
