March TLB Contest - Final Update

04/02/09

The contest has come to a close with Team Skydive winning the overall team competition and pocketing $560 to split amongst themselves. Coming in 2nd place was Team Golfpro, who will take home $240 to split as well. Team Borg and Team All were close behind, finishing in the #3 and #4 spots just behind the leaders. Congratulations to our winners and congratulations to everyone who participated on a great month.

The individual standings did not change in the final days, meaning skydiveoslo is our winner for the month and will take home $55 for his efforts. Coming in not too far behind was ChristaBorg, who will receive $25 for his 2nd place finish. Arobinson11, disKotheK, and New Shawboy rounded out the top 5.

Congratulations also to the following players who each placed 1st in their individual draft rounds. They will each receive $24 for their efforts.

March TLB Contest - Day 30

03/30/09

With a day and a half of play left in the contest, the only change to the standings was Team Bob moving up 2 spots to #5. Team Skydive appears to have 1st place locked up, but there are 3 teams in the running for 2nd and a little prize money.

Two more final tables for skydiveoslo pushed his lead in the individual standings even further ahead of ChristaBorg. Not many other changes other than nbfb42 moving up 2 spots to #8, and dmk re-entering the top 10 at #10.

The next update will be the final update with the official results on April 2nd! Remember that you have until midnight on April 1st to post any late scores.

The standings remained the same this update except that Team Skydive doubled the size of their lead to over 2000 points over Team Golfpro. They seem to be a lock to win this month with only 5 days of play left. But with one Sunday left on the schedule, anyone could hit it big and make it close.

With his 2 wins last night in the Stars $30rebuy and FTP $30 rebuy, skydiveoslo added over 1200 points to his total and now sits atop the individual standings. Other than that there were no changes to the top 10.

After a huge few days of scores, the standings remained the same. The only difference is that now Team Skydive has pushed their lead from only 200 to almost 1000 points over Team Golfpro and Team Borg. This was thanks in large part to several final tables from skydiveoslo and disKotheK.

With the big scores there were quite a few changes to the individual race. ChristaBorg continues to hold the top spot, but disKotheK has returned to the #2 spot. New Shawboy came in at #3 this update after several solid final tables. Also moving up at least one spot were skydiveoslo (#5), cardsfan04 (#7), and tcgolfpro24 (#8). We also had a new addition to the top 10. Coming in at #10 was nbfb42, dropping bigturns out and down to #11.

Team Skydive still holds the top spot, but their lead has diminished to only 230 points. Team Golfpro made some moves over the weekend and jumped 1 spot up to #2, putting them just slightly ahead of Team Borg in the #3 spot. Team All also continued to move up with this update, gaining 400 more points and jumping 1 spot to #4.

The top 4 remained the same on the individual side, but melissa2141 and skydiveoslo each moved up 1 spot to #5 and #6 respectively after some fine performances. Cardsfan04 also moved up 1 spot to #8 after his win in the FTP Big Double B. Rejoining the top 10 this update was tcgolfpro24, who came in at #10 and bounced Toobinski out and down to #11 overall.

Not much change in the standings after a few slow days of play. However, Team Blah and Team Heatfan did manage to move up 1 spot each to #4 and #7 respectively.

The only change to the individual race was New Shawboy moving up 3 spots to #4 overall. This was thanks to his chop in the Stars $50 1r1a.

Some huge scores posted have changed the standings quite a bit. While Team Skydive and Team Borg continue to hold the top 2 spots, Team Golfpro added 1700 points to move themselves up into the #3 spot. Team All also added 1800 points and moved themselves from last place all the way up to #4.

After several final tables and deep runs, ChristaBorg regained the individual lead for the time being. Also, after his win in the Stars $5 rebuy last night, arobinson11 added 1200 points and jumped 5 spots to #2. This dropped former leader disKotheK down to #3. We also had two players re-enter the top 10. Cardsfan04 and Toobinski came back in at #9 and #10 repectively, dropping thricer and dmk out and down to #11 and #12 overall.

Team Skydive and Team Borg continue to hold the top 2 spots. However, behind them things have shuffled. Team Blah and Team Golfpro both moved up 1 spot to #3 and #4 respectively. Also moving up was Team Ma77, who jumped 2 spots to #5 thanks to some solid scores from thricer. At the halfway point of the contest it is starting to bunch up, and it is still anyone's game.

DisKotheK and ChristaBorg still sit at #1 and #2 in the individual race, but skydiveoslo added over 700 points to his total and jumped 7 spots up to sit behind them in the #3 spot. We also had 2 newcomers to the top 10 this update. Melissa2141 came in at #6 after several impressive scores, and thricer entered at #9 thanks to a solid couple of days. Dropping out of the top 10 this update were cardsfan04 and Toobinski, who fell to #11 and #12 overall.

Another 1200 points were added to Team Skydive, pushing their lead to 800 points over Team Borg. This was thanks in large part to 2 huge final tables for disKotheK and also a 2nd place finish on FTP for Toobinski. The only other change in the standings was Team Blah jumping 2 spots to #4 after bigturns win in the FTP $75 KO 23k GTD.

Thanks to his multiple final tables, disKotheK is now our individual leader. ChristaBorg and Cosmickings still hold the #2 and #3 spots, but bigturns has now moved into the #4 spot after adding over 1000 points to his total. Also re-entering the top 10 was Toobinski in the #9 spot after his 2nd place finish in the FTP $15 Super Turbo KO.

Today we have a new overall leader, Team Skydive. They added close to 700 points thanks to disKotheK and Toobinski to jump ahead of Team Borg. Also moving up was Team Golfpro, who jumped 1 spot to #4.

On the individual side, ChristaBorg still holds the top stop but disKotheK has now moved ahead of Cosmickings into the #2 spot. New Shawboy and dmk also moved up several spots putting them at #4 and #5 respectively. Rejoining the top 10 this update was tcgolfpro24, who came in at #10 and bounced irish_33 out and down to #11 overall.

The standings remained almost identical to the last update except for the fact that Team Borg pushed their lead from 70 points to 520 points. The only other change was Team Blah adding 1000 points and moving up 1 spot to #6, thanks in large part to several big scores from New Shawboy.

Several huge scores over the past few days have shaken up the individual rankings. After 2 wins on Stars adding over 1300 points to his total, ChristaBorg took over the top spot by a decent margin. Also moving up was cardsfan04, who jumped 1 spot to #4. We also welcomed several new players to the top 10. New Shawboy entered at #6 after a win on Stars, and skydiveoslo entered at #8 after a Stars final table and a deep run in the FTP Sunday Brawl. Dropping out this time around were tcgolfpro24 and Metsfan512, dropping down to #11 and #12 respectively.

One week into the contest and it is still pretty bunched up at the top. Team Borg has the #1 spot for now by a slim margin over Team Skydive and Team Heatfan. Not far off the pace are Team Bob and Team Golfpro as well. With many Captains and players who still haven't posted any scores yet, I imagine these standings won't stay the same for very long.

On the individual side of things, Cosmickings and disKotheK have come out of the gate on fire. Accumulating over 2000 points in just the first week puts them at #1 and #2 respectively. Behind them, ChristaBorg and teammate dmk have both had a solid week to move up into the #3 and #4 spots. Dropping out of the top 10 this update though were New Shawboy and Toobinski, down to #14 and #15.
