Middletown's FCA huddle began to use the "Leadership Team" approach during the 2000-01 school year. Prior to that year, students took turns leading lessons and sharing what God had placed on their hearts. With the emergence of a Leadership Team, huddle meetings were structured in a way that allowed many of the leaders to take a leadership role with part of the meeting each week. For example, someone would be in charge of important announcements, while others would lead the music segment and others would develop a lesson. The Leadership Team of our school's FCA huddle usually meets at the home of huddle coach Tim Leber on Sunday evenings from 8 - 9 p.m. to plan for the next meeting. Leaders are expected to have big hearts for serving God and enthusiasm for working with others. |
