These indices have been written because both Talent series, especially 'Tower and the Hive', have inspired me more than anything else written by Anne McCaffrey, or any other science-fiction author come to that. I hope that by writing this Index I'll share some of that inspiration with you. New! I'm also working on an Introduction to the Talent Universe.
These Indices cover the 'Tower and the Hive' series (Towerdex), and To Ride Pegasus, the first book in its prequel, the 'Pegasus' series (Pegasusdex). In the meantime my thanks go to gidget2, I'm working on the other two!
I've included a printer-friendly (all my comments are printable, I should hope! LOL) version of Towerdex so that you can keep it handy while you (re)read the books. It contains the Human, Mrdini and Pets indices in one file, so it too is fairly long... When I'm done indexing Pegasusdex, I'll do a printer-friendly version of it too.

This index was written to help fans of the 'Tower and the Hive' series navigate the complex character universe it describes. If you haven't read the whole series yet, reading the index may give you advance notice of interesting future developments.

Characters are listed in alphabetical order by surname if it is known, first name if not or if they don't have a surname, like the 'Dinis. As the spelling of some characters has changed between books, I've tried to follow the first appearance, while mentioning the second; Greevy, Alison Anne: alt. sp. Alison Ann (TTatH).
Some characters appear or are at least mentioned in all novels, these are tagged (series). Others appear in only one or a few books, which are denoted by their acronyms:

Since there are differences between editions, I've included my sources here to avoid confusion.
The file on human characters is especially long, so it might take a while to load on a slow connection. I've tried to cross-reference it as much as possible. Some minor characters, however, may not be cross-referenced, instead they can be found by scrolling the list, at least until I get a search engine set up. Please report any broken links!
To wiew my pages properly you need a CSS-capable browser, as one of the reasons I wrote them was to learn CSS. I've tested them on Opera 6 and IE 5. Newer versions of Netscape which support CSS should work, but I haven't been able to test them yet as Communicator 6 won't even install on my system...
