Melvin Fleming Jr., was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. At the age of 16 the Lord began to placed a heavey burden on his heart to start fasting and praying for the sick. Brother Fleming would spend hours praying and studying the bible for the supernatural and more of God. Each weekend he would visiting hospitals and the homes of believers who were sick. He would often pray and lay hands on them rebuking the spirit of sickness and disease over their lives. God would many times send forth healing. In 1981 Fleming received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and was called into the five-fold ministry under the late Mother Nora Spivey, pastor of Faith Tabernacle UHC. In 1984 his father Bishop Melvin Fleming Sr., was ask to pastor the New Bethel Holy Church in Ewing, New Jersey. In 1985 Melvin Fleming graduated the Deliverance Bible Institute in Newark, NJ under the leadership of Apostle Ralph Nichol and while attending his studies, he met Denise Cousar former classmate of DBI and a year later they married. That union brougth forth two sons Devin and Andrew.
Melvin Fleming is also a graduate of the Princeton Deliverance Bible School in Trenton and a graduate of the United Christian Institute in Trenton. In 2001 Melvin Fleming was ordained as an Elder in Balitmore, MD by Bishop Gatling.. Melvin and his wife Denise have evangelized for the past 18 years from city to city in New Jersey, New York, Baltimore, and other States, preaching and ministering to literally hundreds of people the message of Salvation, Hope, and Deliverance. Melvin Fleming is a bold energetic anointed preacher that is highly regarded for his gift of exhortation and gift of breaking demonic yokes off the lives and mind sets of believers. Melvin Fleming is also regared for his ability of depositing strength to the broken and encouraging disouraged pastors and leaders.
Melvin Fleming believes that preachers in the ministry must have a burden for the lost and get involved in the community. Melvin Fleming fulfills numerous appointments annually preaching in tents, revivals, seminars, conferences and hotels. In 1999 Melvin Fleming graduated the Community Foundation of New Jesrey a non-profit orginization that provides education and funding for grass-root orginizations. Melvin Fleming has hosted various religious radio programs; such as "The Word of Truth Ministries which aired for five years on WIMG 1300 AM, "Restoration and Power Ministries" for one year on WTTM 520 AM, WIFI 920 AM, and "Greater is He Deliverance Ministries" on WIMG 1300 AM.
