2 Cor 11:13-15
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Many Christians actually believe that it is no harm for children to dress up and wear costumes throughout the neighborhood begging for candy. But the fact of the matter remains that Halloween is evil and "I mean very evil." The night before Halloween is called "Devil's Night." In many cities, people start fires, and create all kinds of mischief and evil that night. Then, on Halloween night, children dress up in costumes (many times scary costumes), and go to people's doors demanding candy. They say "Trick Or Treat." What they are really saying "Do you want me to play a dirty trick on you (like waxing your windows, smashing your pumpkins, spreading toilet paper all around your trees in your yard, etc.)? Or do you want to be spared all of that and give me the candy (the treat) that I am demanding?" you see Halloween is evil, selfish, and devilish and undermining and Christians should have no part in its celebration at all. Behind the name... Halloween, or the Hallow E'en as they call it in Ireland , means All Hallows Eve, or the night before the 'All Hallows', also called 'All Hallowmas', or 'All Saints', or 'All Souls' Day, observed on November 1. In old English the word 'Hallow' meant 'sanctify'. Roman Catholics, Episcopalians and Lutherians used to observe All Hallows Day to honor all Saints in heaven, known or unknown. They used to consider it with all solemnity as one of the most significant observances of the Church year. And Catholics, all and sundry, was obliged to attend Mass.  Participants made sacrifices in honor of the dead, offered up prayers for them, and made oblations to them.  In the 7th century, Pope Boniface IV introduced All Saints' Day to replace the pagan festival  of the dead. The Celtic people who lived over 2,000 years ago, feared the evening of October 31st more than any other day of the year. It was the eve of the Lord of the Dead. To celebrate, the people built bonfires, wore masks and costumes in order to prepare for the arrival of spirits. Fire rituals and divination were part of their celebration. Pagan priests even offered human and animal sacrifices.

Read what Chandra Gore a member of Nothing But The Word Deliverance Church has to say about Halloween. She writes; To be a christian means to be "Christ like". When you think of Halloween, what do you think about?  Witches, goblins, ghosts, Jack O'Latern, death, trick or treating, haunted houses and Pumpkins.  There is a history behind all of these things. I went to a Christian seminar last night conducted by a Pastor where a tape was shown of actual demonic ceremonies carried out by several occults (demonic activity goes on throughout the year that leads up to this satanic holiday including the sacrificing of animals, illicit sexual acts, and summonsing of spirits). On Halloween night, the actual sacrifice of children are done.  The high priest of these occults place children on altars, rape them, slit their wrists to spill their blood and allow it to drip into a chalice (cup) and drink it.  They are offering this sacrifice to Satan himself.   Do you think this holiday is glorifying Christ?  Think of your own children.  Think of the many missing children that you see on advertisements every day.  Satan uses the costumes, trick or treating, and parties as a camoflauge of his evil and dark work.  This is the spirit of deception at work.  Dressing your children up as biblical characters is still wrong.  You are still partaking in this demonic activity.  Are you being decieved by satan? In her closing she writes;

" We, as Christians, should be coming together to praise the Lord and PRAY by waging spiritual warfare against this spirit of murder, deception, and pornography.  God gives us the power and authority through the blood of Jesus Christ. Read Ephesians 6:12 & Matthews 16:19 for reference.
