Installed a complete $300K chemical & metallurgical laboratory. (Under budget & ahead of schedule).
Sucessfully presented a case for the use of Inductively Coupled Plasma Emission Spectrometer in the analysis of high metal containing solutions. Case presented to the former head of the NBS (NIST) at an EPA meeting in St.Louis.
Presented and published paper for the National Thermal Spray Conference on "The Need for Plasma Sprayed Abradable Coatings in the Metallurgical Laboratory"
Planned, implemented and obtained ISO-
9001certification for a multi-plant operation.
Certification was obtained 30 days ahead
of the scheduled 17 month plan. Only one
minor finding during certification audit.
