So what's new and exciting on the work front? Well Mikey is at Vallarta Adventure, running the stores and warehousing. He has to make sure that the Sierra Madre, Canopy and all the boat tours have enough of everything. So when you are here and visiting Caletas or the Marietas Islands, watching the whales or hiking through the jungle, just think that every sandwich was hand wrapped by Mike (not really!) but he did load all the beer!

And here he is with the Mini Unimog, fully resplendant in his work uniform, yes, shorts and a teeshirt. Don't you just love those brown legs!

Here's me looking like I know what I am doing, but don't be fooled, there's no keys in it.

Here's a link to Vallarta Adventures Website so you can see all the really great things you can do while you are here in Puerto Vallarta

And what am I up to while Mikey is busy all day at VA? Well I am diversifying at the moment (and no that's not just another word for playing on the computer all day).

I'm Nayarit Editor for The Times PV, a small English speaking paper for residents of Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding areas. We have news and stories about what's happening here, what's going on entertainment wise, plus international news and events. We're a weekly paper and I get to write a column for those of us out here in the Styx.

I still have my website up and running for tourist bookings and reservations, it's up to date now, with all the tours on, so have a look at www.vip-pv.com

If that wasn't enough I'm now helping out down the pub a few nights a week, Cafe Magaña is a bar/restaurant that's owned by another Brit, Jeff from Manchester and he needed some help as the word is spreading about the best fish and chips in the area on Fridays and Saturdays. So being a recovering publican I couldn't resist when he asked if I could lend a hand! Great food, great atmosphere, English footie and loads of laughs. What more can you ask for?

Jeff's got a website too, check out
