So here we are, now ensconced in
our 'nueva casa', we moved here on October 1st 2002, just 3 weeks before
the Bay was visited by Hurricane Kenna! One of the deciding factors
was the beautiful trees we had both at the front and at the back, fortunately
we didn't lose too many but the best one at the front did in fact fall
victim to the storm. All in all though we fared very well indeed, considering
that Bucerias and the North side of the bay usually get it much worse
than downtown Vallarta. I will be including a few photos we have from
Kenna as soon as I can get them scanned in.

Welcome to triffid central, we
have coco palms, bouganvillia and a tamarind tree.

The large bush to the left was
a tree, it had to be cut down after Kenna but this has sprouted in just
2 months

blue at the end of the street is the ocean!
