On the 21st of June, 2003, bookstores opened simultaneously all over the world. Why? A single book. A book the majority of children all around the world have been waiting for, for over 2 years...

As bookstores opened, line-ups milled towards the counter. Counting down to the release (9:01am some places, 12 midnight others) that they had all been waiting for.
Finally. The clock struck the time to open the crates. Fans adjusted their wizards hats, straightened their Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw ties and scarves and each, one by one recieved their own copy - cradling it in their hands like holy masterpiece that some probably would have encased in a preserving glass case had they not wanted to devour every word in that book in a second - yet let it last for as long as they could make it last.
