  • Ginny Weasley: The youngest Weasley Child and Only Girl. Notorious for singing valentines and talking diaries. JK Rowling says on her website (www.jkrowling.com) that her name is actually GINEVRA, not VIRGINIA. Be careful, fanfic writers! (definitely a new fact to me!)
  • Percy Weasley: Pompous elder brother of Ginny, Fred, George and Ron. Very ambitious and wants to be the head of the Ministry of Magic.
  • Charlie Weasley: One of the eldest brothers who studies Dragons in Romania. Charlie Weasley was a star seeker at Hogwarts.
  • Bill Weasley: One of the eldest brothers who works for Gringotts.
  • Molly Weasley: Husband of Arthur, mother of the Weasley children. Maiden-name: Prewett.
  • Arthur Weasley: Wife of Molly, father of the Weasley children.
  • Neville Longbottom: Don't know if he has a long bottom, but he is very forgetful and lives with his Grandmother.
  • Lavender Brown: Gryffindor Student.
  • Parvati Patil: Gryffindor Student.(?)
  • Colin Creevey: Gryffindor Student. Photographer in the making.
  • Dean Thomas: Gryffindor Student. Potter's Roomie.
  • Seamus Finnigan: Gryffindor Student. Potter's Roomie.
  • Cho Chang: Ravenclaw seeker. Pretty crush of Harry Potter.
  • Cedric Diggory: Ravenclaw student. Quidditch Captain.
  • Luna Lovegood: Ravenclaw Student. Strange and very gullible girl. Her father is the editor for "The Quibbler".

  • Flitwick: Charms teacher at Hogwarts. Small and funny. Head of Ravenclaw.
  • Sprout: Herbology teacher at Hogwarts. Flyaway hair and dislikes Lockhart (go sprout!). Head of Hufflepuff house.
  • Sybill Trelawney: Divination teacher at Hogwarts. Strange and looks like an insect. Most of the time is unreliable, but is a 'true seer'. Enjoys predicting death.
  • Vector: Professor of Arithmancy.
  • Albus Dumbledore: Head of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He likes sweets and is very eccentric. Twinkles.
  • Rubeus Hagrid: Hogwarts gamekeeper/Professor of Care of Magical Creatures.
  • Cornelius Fudge: Minster of Magic. Incompetant fool.

  • Vernon Dursley: Harry Potter's Uncle. Angry man with beetroot face.
  • Petunia Dursley: Harry Potter's Aunt. Nosey lady with too much neck.
  • Dudley Dursley: Harry Potter's Cousin. Size of a whale and bully.
  • Marge Dursley: Vernon Dursley's Sister. Large insulting woman who breeds dogs and may be a dog herself.

    Minor Characters

  • Florean Fortescue: Owns the ice-cream parlour in Diagon Alley and knows quite a bit about the Witch Burnings.
  • Ollivander: Owns the wand shop in Diagon Alley and is very creepy with lamplike eyes and a monster memory.
  • Tom: Bartender at The Leaky Cauldron missing many (if not most) of his teeth.
  • Rita Skeeter: Unpleasant reporter from the Daily Prophet who ended up being blackmailed by Hermione Granger, to her great dismay and our great amusement.
  • Victor Krum: Bulgarian Quidditch Player (seeker) and student at Durmstrang. Friend/Boyfriend? of Hermione Granger.
