Woody Hayes....One of the most disciplinary coaches of all time. Nothing but your best will do when you played under this man. From grabbing his own players face masks and chewing them out, to throwing a straight right into the adams apple of an opposing teams player in the Gator Bowl. He was the epitome of intense, passionate, motivated, and one of the great college head football coaches of all time. 3 yards and a clowd of dust was his offensive strategy, tough, hard nose football is what he preached, practiced, and played. With all of this it rubbed of on his players and Buckeye fans alike. His reference to Michigan as the team up North is like no other, as is the rivalry on the field between OSU and those maze jackasses. How can you not like a old guy with a stride like that??? R.I.P.

Earl Bruce....He was a disciple of Woody, with the same tough coaching style as Woody, and the only coach in Ohio State history with a winning record against Michigan. Ironically enough, he had about the same luck at having a decent enough overall record, by OSU standards, as John Cooper did beating Michigan and winning a Bowl game. Oddly enough, when the Bucks started losing to Michigan under Cooper, those decent records all of a sudden became acceptable as long as there was a win over Michigan. He was a great OSU coach and when he ended up as the Colorado Rams Head Coach, he eventually got fired for supposable being to rough with some of the players, I will never understand that one. Last but not least, who could forget when OSU brought him back to try to get the team fired up for Michigan while Cooper was coach.... classic!

Jim Tressel....Big T is a native of Ohio. He coached for Youngstown State and won several championships there along with the respect of players and fans alike. Him being from Ohio makes it nice for the fact that he knows what's expected at OSU, and hes known it all his life. From my understanding, the camaraderie between him and his players is what made Youngstown State football program so successful. At the OSU basketball game halftime, his epic countdown off the days until the Michigan game, and prior to that, asking his players if they knew how many days until that game, retorting from a wrong answer with you should know was too sweet! That right there shows the players, fans, coaching staff, and anyone else just how important the football tradition is when its the The Ohio State University, and also how important it is too kick Michigans Fuckin ASS!

John Cooper....Coop, what I can say? You seemed like a decent guy, but you just couldn't get the job done against Michigan or in a Bowl game. Id call those grounds for dismissal from a Buckeye perspective. It just amazed me how every year you would have one of the top recruiting classes but could not beat this team when it counted. Score 70 points on the Illini and NW with an offensive assault, play Michigan and play conservative, not to lose football. Dam I will never understand that. It just makes me wonder about other coaches around the NCAA, if they had that talent and possibilities that could of been realized. I know these players are 18 - 22, unless you play fro Fla St., but I also feel that some of the responsibility is theirs too. Coop you had a great record at OSU, just not against the right teams, but I will say this, You and the Buckeyes kicked the shit outta Notre Dame 2 years in a row and I enjoyed that just as much as, if not more than a win over Michigan.
