Smiles make the world go round.....
A giggle and a chuckle I've often found,
will brighten a day and lighten a heart,
especially when others are compelled to take part.

To laugh at another is easily done
but to laugh at ourselves is often more fun.
When things are so tough and we start to feel down
a moment of humour will wipe off that frown.

It starts with a grin, a flicker of mirth
then spreads to your eyes and there is its birth.
From there it glows like a radiant beacon
till it touches another and they feel the walls weaken.

Its an infection of sorts for which there's no cure
an emotion thats needed, but one that is sure
to carry its symptoms to all far and wide
till all are exposed and feel cheerful inside.

A smile, a giggle, a chuckle, a grin,
laughter is something we all indulge in
take your smile and touch your friend
and you'll see that smile will never end...
