Poems Pending...
Pain and grief when pushed away
And hidden till another day,
Lingers long and burrows deep,
Then rears its head when I'm asleep.
It wriggles down until it's dug
Into my heart a hollow snug
And waits for recognition...
Pending.... a sad condition... :(
How to reach this lonely place
To pluck it out and see it's face
Before my soul is stunted...
To know its barbs are blunted.
A catalyst to pierce the shield
To cleanse a wound that never healed.
A word, a song, a caring face,
To feel my pain and give solace.
My friend has given all to me.
Released the grief and set it free.
Now in its place a different view...
Room for friends... a place for you.
Pending... :)
