When a batch of students returns good results, it's usually a
matter of pride for the institutes they represent. At King
George's Medical College (KGMC), Lucknow, the opposite has
happened.
About 70 of the 360 KGMC students who appeared in the All India
Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGME) this year
made the grade. But the successful students have something else
in common: they are all from the same hostel, Sardar Patel. And
instead of celebrations, there's been a stink.
