Some fun and mildly interesting things about Colin Christensen.

I was born in 1967 in Ottawa Ontario. I have lived in numerous places from Toronto to New Liskard in Ontario (20 years), North Vancouver to Coquitlam in British Columbia (14 years) and now in Edmonton Alberta (since July 2001).

I have one blood sister, Alana, a step sister, Kelly, and a step brother, Adam. I am the oldest by 3½ years to Alana, then Kelly following by a year and Adam following by a year. They are all great… now. I didn't always feel that way.

Even in the wake of dysfunctional families, I have a great one. My dad, Peter, and step mom Janet (the mother of Kelly and Adam) have been married over 24 years. My Mom, Wanda has been with the father of Kelly and Adam, Stewart, for the same time (take some time to think about that). They have done a great job in raising me and I miss having them around as they are all in and throughout Ontario.

I have been an entrepreneur (can't be one if you can't spell it) since 1991 mostly in Graphic Design but also in Courier Driving, Sales, Stunt work, Recruiting and Consulting along the way. I have always had the aspiration to be working for myself. Partly due to the challenge of growing something, mostly due to my need to be in control and being lazy and wanting to work only when I want to. Today, I am the President of SleepTracker Canada Inc. and I also sit as President of the Capital City Church of Christ, the church I attend and moved here to help establish.

I have been married to the most amazing woman, Melissa, since November 28, 1998 and have one son in Heaven, Nathaniel, and two more here on earth[Corben and Logan]. After putting together a very specific list of wife-requirements together years earlier, I met Melissa, the exact fit, at church one fateful Wednesday in January '96. I am amazed to say that she not only met but blew away the requirements that I had in more ways than I could imagine. After a long casual, and longer steady dating relationship, we got engaged and were married three months later.

After years of philosophy, wicca, satanism, paganism, and psychic dabblings, I have discovered the only truth to follow is Christianity. I have been involved heavily since 1992 after reading the entire Bible cover to cover. There is a lot of stuff behind this. Please email me if you have questions.

I have a huge passion for movies, eating (especially when I don't have to cook it or clean up after it. i.e. restaurants), toys and hanging out with friends. My toys are everything from my computer and MP3s to my car, from anything new I get to my PDA. Being an advocate for the high tech industry, I spend a lot of time on the computer, networking, learning and instructing others as well.
