The part for flowing the egg into the pan

To flow the egg into the pan, the first essential thing is that the egg carrier can rotate the cup with a suitable angle so that the egg can flow out from the cup and the egg will not flow on the egg carrier.

The next thing is to act a force on the egg carrier so that it can do such action. Therefore, a paper tube is used here as a track for the rolling ball. And there is also an axis at the tube so that it can be rotated.  In figure below, it shows the two different views of the rotating tube. The tube is chosen to be used in this part is that when the ball comes into the tube and to the end of the tube, due to the weight of the ball, the tube will turn clockwise so that it will crack on the egg carrier. To prevent the ball go out from the track, so the tube is used to surround the ball.

Once the tube turns clockwise and act a force on the egg carrier, the cup on the egg carrier will then turn anti-clockwise as it is independently to the egg carrier. There is only an axis connect them together. Therefore, when there is a force act on it. It will turn. And the egg inside will flow out due to gravity. And flow on the pan next to the track.

When the ball rolls to the end of the track, there is no force act on the tube. Then the tube will go back to its original position. And the cup will release and again turn back. And the process of flowing the egg is finished. To have more idea on it, it can refer to fig 3.18.
